Job Summary

• Position: Audit Officer (Field / Office-based Category – Class III, Grade II)
• Institution: Audit Service Commission (National Audit Office)

• Nature of Service: Permanent and pensionable (subject to a 3-year probation period)
• Age Limit: 22 to 28 years as of 12.10.2026 (up to 45 years for candidates currently in government service)
• Key Qualifications:
• A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or Public Management from a UGC-recognized university; OR CA Sri Lanka (Intermediate / CAB II / Business Level or higher), CIMA/CMA (Management Level or higher), SLIATE (HNDA / HNDC / Higher National Diploma in Management).
• OR (up to 10% of vacancies): A degree in Valuation, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Technology.
