1. About the service

Jobs Lanka is a free information website that lists job vacancies, news, courses and quizzes, and provides a CV builder tool. We are not an employer or a recruitment agency and we do not take part in hiring decisions.

2. Use of the website

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

• Copy or scrape the site's content in bulk, or republish it, without permission.
• Attempt to hack, overload, or disrupt the website or its database.
• Submit false, misleading or harmful information.
• Use the site to harass others or to collect personal data of other users.
• Click on ads artificially or encourage others to do so.

3. Free job posting for employers

Posting a job on Jobs Lanka is free of charge. By submitting a job you confirm that you are authorised to advertise the vacancy and that you agree to the rules below.

Employers must not post:

• Scam, fraudulent or fake jobs, or jobs from fake or non-existent companies.
• Jobs that ask applicants to pay money (registration, training, visa, deposit or any other fee) or to send money to receive a job.
• Jobs that are misleading about pay, duties, location or the identity of the employer.
• Pyramid, multi-level marketing or "get rich quick" schemes presented as jobs.
• Discriminatory, illegal, adult or offensive content.
• Spam, duplicate posts, or posts that only advertise a service rather than a real vacancy.
• Unverified manpower agency or foreign employment posts.

Employers must:

• Provide accurate details, including a working apply link, email or phone number.
• Provide a genuine contact email so our team can verify the post if needed.
• Tell us promptly if a vacancy is filled or cancelled so it can be removed.

4. Our right to reject or remove content

All submitted jobs are reviewed before publishing. We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, reject, edit or remove any job post or other content, including spam, manpower agency spam, suspected scams or anything that breaks these Terms. We are not required to give a reason and have no obligation to publish any submission.

5. Job seekers

• You are responsible for checking that a job and employer are genuine before applying or sharing personal documents.
• Never pay money to get a job. See our Disclaimer for safety advice.
• Any agreement between you and an employer is strictly between you and the employer.

6. Intellectual property

The website design, logo, original text, quizzes and tools belong to Jobs Lanka unless stated otherwise. Job advertisements, logos and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners. If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, email lkjobslanka@gmail.com and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it.

7. User-submitted content

By submitting a job or other content you give Jobs Lanka a free, non-exclusive right to display, store and promote it on the website and related channels for as long as it is published. You confirm you have the right to submit it.

8. Third-party links and advertising

The site contains links to third-party websites and shows ads provided by third parties such as Google AdSense. We do not control or endorse those sites or ads and are not responsible for them.

9. No warranty and limitation of liability

The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the information is accurate, complete or up to date, that the site will always be available or error free, or that you will get a job. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobs Lanka and its owner will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, your dealings with employers or other third parties, or your reliance on any content. 10. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version applies from the date it is posted. Continued use of the site means you accept the changes.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of Sri Lanka.
