About Us
Jobs Lanka (jobslanka.lk) is a free website that helps people in Sri Lanka find job vacancies, government and private, in one place.
Who we are
Jobs Lanka is an independent website run by an individual based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. We started on 31 October 2024 with a simple goal: to make it easier for Sri Lankans to find genuine job vacancies without searching through many different newspapers and websites every day.
What we do
- Jobs: latest government and private sector vacancies across Sri Lanka, filterable by district and category.
- Important News: news and notices that matter to job seekers, such as exam and recruitment announcements.
- Courses: courses, diplomas and training programmes to build your skills.
- Quizzes: practice quizzes to help you prepare for exams and interviews.
- CV Builder: a simple tool to create a CV in your browser.
Where our jobs come from
The vacancies on Jobs Lanka are collected from:
- Official government websites and gazette notices
- Sri Lankan newspapers
- Well-known job websites
- Company websites
- Employers who submit their own vacancies through our free Post a Job form
We always try to link to the original source or give the employer's own apply details. We are not a recruitment agency and we are not involved in the hiring process. Please read our Disclaimer before applying.
Free for everyone
Jobs Lanka is free for job seekers and free for employers. We never charge to post a job, and we never ask job seekers for money. The site is supported by advertising (Google AdSense), which helps cover our running costs.
Our review process
Every job submitted by an employer is reviewed by our team before it is published. We reject spam, misleading posts and anything that breaks our Terms and Conditions.
