SENIOR BANKING ASSISTANT-PETTAH

You should ideally:

• possess approximately 4 years of relevant experience in Trade Finance/Trade Operations in a bank or financial institution.

• have sound knowledge of Import/Export Trade Finance, LCs, Bills for Collection, and Bank Guarantees.

• have previous experience in a branch banking environment, which will be an added advantage.

possess strong customer service, communication, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.

You will be mainly responsible for:

• handling day-to-day trade finance transactions at the branch, including Import/Export LCs, Bills for Collection, Bank Guarantees, and related transactions.

• verifying trade documents and ensuring compliance with Bank policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.

• providing trade-related support and guidance to branch customers.

• coordinating with Trade Finance, Operations, Credit, and Compliance teams to ensure the timely processing of transactions.

• supporting the branch in identifying and developing trade finance business opportunities.
