Key Responsibilities

  • Teach courses and develop lesson materials in the English medium within the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

  • Fulfill full-time academic duties at the Colombo Regional Centre.

  • Apply Open Distance Learning (ODL) methodologies and IT tools in curriculum delivery.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management with a First or Second Class Upper Division or higher from a recognized university; OR

    • An Honours Degree in any other discipline combined with a Postgraduate Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from a recognized university.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent communication skills in English.

  • Preferred Attributes: Familiarity with Open Distance Learning (ODL) frameworks and Information Technology (IT).

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Monthly Allowance: Fixed monthly allowance of Rs. 62,000/- (inclusive of Cost of Living allowance).

  • Statutory Benefits: Entitled to Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees' Trust Fund (ETF).
