Available Positions & Salary Scales

1. Temporary Senior Lecturer

• Salary Scale: U-AC 3-2025 - LKR 138,980/= (Fixed)

• Qualifications Required:

  • B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / BET Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Technology from a recognised university OR a B.Sc. Special degree in Physics (preference given to those with undergraduate modules/research related to Electrical and Electronic Technology).

  • AND a Ph.D. / M.Phil. degree specialized in an area related to Electrical and Electronic Technology.

  • AND at least six (06) years of experience in university-level teaching, professional experience, research, or postgraduate studies.

2. Temporary Assistant Lecturer

• Salary Scale: U-AC 2-2025 - LKR 76,399/= (Fixed)

• Qualifications Required:

  • B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering OR BET Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Technology from a recognised university with a First-Class or Second-Class Upper Division.

Special Preference (For Posts 1 & 2): Preference will be given to candidates specializing in telecommunication systems, wireless communication, digital signal processing, drone mapping, or machine learning and AI applications in electrical and electronics technology.

3. Temporary Demonstrator

• Salary Scale: U-AC 1-2025 - LKR 62,116/= (Fixed)

• Qualifications Required:

  • B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering OR BET Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Technology from a recognised university.
