Position Summary

  • Role: Intern - Risk & Compliance

  • Company: Arpico Insurance PLC (A Richard Pieris Group Company)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in customer risk categorization based on established risk assessment criteria and internal guidelines.

  • Document clear and accurate rationales supporting customer risk classifications.

  • Review customer information to identify potential risk indicators, discrepancies, and incomplete documentation.

  • Assist in maintaining compliance registers, monitoring trackers, and customer risk assessment records.

  • Support the preparation of compliance reports, presentations, and other documentation.

  • Assist with AML/CFT compliance activities, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews and record maintenance.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to obtain information and follow up on outstanding requirements.

  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Risk & Compliance Department.

Candidate Personal Attributes & Skills

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when reviewing information and maintaining records.

  • Analytical Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

  • Work Ethic: Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively with a responsible, reliable, and professional attitude.

  • Eligibility: An interest in risk management, compliance, and the financial services industry. School leavers are also encouraged to apply; no prior work experience is required.
