Position Summary

  • Role: Senior CCTV Monitoring Room Operator

  • Location: No 03/A, Hathduwa Estate, Ranwala, Meethirigala, Sri Lanka

  • Employment Type: Full-Time (Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights & weekends)

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise & guide a team of CCTV operators in daily monitoring tasks.

  • Ensure continuous & effective operation of the surveillance system.

  • Monitor CCTV footage to detect & prevent security risks, theft, vandalism, or safety violations.

  • Review escalated incidents & coordinate with security staff or law enforcement where necessary.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly surveillance reports for management.

  • Verify & archive CCTV recordings in line with organizational policies.

  • Conduct periodic system checks & liaise with your technical staff for equipment maintenance.

  • Train & mentor new operators on CCTV monitoring procedures & emergency protocols.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all surveillance data & information.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: G.C.E. A/L or equivalent education (A Diploma in Security Management is preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in CCTV monitoring, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in operating advanced surveillance & access control systems.

  • Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership & coordination skills, excellent observation & analytical skills, and the ability to prepare clear & professional incident reports.
