General Manager, Store Keeper

Lanka Phosphate Limited operates under the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development. Applications are invited from qualified citizens of Sri Lanka for the following vacant positions.

Position Details, Salaries & Requirements

1. General Manager - Chief Executive Officer (HM 2-1)

• Employment Basis: Contract (One year)

• Contract Salary: Rs. 158,117/- per month (DMS 01/2025)

• Age Limit: 35 to 55 years (The upper age limit does not apply to internal applicants)

• Key Requirements:

  • External Applicants: A Bachelor's Degree with a Master's Degree or Associate Membership, together with 20 years of managerial experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with a Doctoral Degree and 5 years of managerial experience after obtaining the Doctoral Degree.

  • Internal Applicants: 05 years of satisfactory service in the HM grade.

2. Store Keeper - Grade III (MA 2-1)

• Employment Basis: Permanent

• Salary Scale: Rs. 50,540/- - 10 x Rs. 540 - 07 x Rs. 630 - 04 x Rs. 890 - 20 x Rs. 1,190 - Rs. 87,710/- (Initial salary step: Rs. 46,960/- per month as per DMS 01/2025)

• Age Limit: 18 to 45 years (The upper age limit does not apply to internal applicants)

• Key Requirements:

  • External Applicants: Not below National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 5.

  • Internal Applicants: Completion of 5 years of service in the Primary Level Skilled (PL 3) Grade I, with NVQ Level 4; OR completion of 5 years of service as a Management Assistant (MA 1-1), with NVQ Level 4.
