Job Vacancy: Heavy Vehicle Driver (Contract Basis) – REDECO

• Organization: Land Reclamation and Development Company (REDECO) – Subsidiary of Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation (Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development).
• Position: Heavy Vehicle Driver (බර වාහන රියදුරු).
• Employment Type: Contract Basis.
• Basic Salary: LKR 40,834/- (as of 01.01.2026 under Management Services Circular 01/2025) + Cost of Living Allowance.
• Other Benefits: Approved Overtime (OT) allowances, medical allowances, and annual bonuses.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Sat for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination.
• Driving Credentials & Experience: Valid driving license for heavy vehicles + at least 3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience in a recognized institution after obtaining the license.
• Special Advantage: Experience driving U-Tractors is considered a special qualification.
• Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
• General Requirements: Sri Lankan citizen with sound physical and mental fitness to perform driving duties safely and effectively.
