Job Vacancy: Project Manager – People's Bank

• Organization: People's Bank, Sri Lanka.
• Position: Project Manager (Non-banking stream, equivalent to Grade of Deputy Manager 3-II).
• Employment Type: Contract basis (performance evaluated annually).
• Remuneration: Attractive and negotiable package commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver technology projects within scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk standards.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams and coordinate effectively with external vendors.
• Proactively identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Prepare and present regular status updates, governance reports, and project documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with PMO standards, regulatory mandates, and audit requirements.

Key Requirements & Eligibility

• Nationality: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka.
• Professional Certification: Internationally recognized Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
• Experience: 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in digital, payments, or regulatory projects, alongside strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Age Limit: Preferably below 45 years as of the application closing date.
