Job Overview

SriLankan Airlines, the National Carrier of Sri Lanka and a proud member of the ‘oneworld’ alliance, is seeking a dynamic Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager to join its award-winning IT Systems team. This critical role focuses on creating and executing a robust Business Intelligence strategy to transform the airline into a truly information-driven organization. The successful candidate will drive decision-making from strategic to tactical levels, empower users with self-service BI solutions, and generate next-level airline insights utilizing big-data processing, predictive analytics, and the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with business stakeholders to define and drive solid dashboard and reporting requirements that support strategic decisions and operational growth goals.
• KPI & Delivery Management: Ensure new reports and dashboards are correctly defined, meet product requirements, and deliver tangible business benefits within KPI timescales.
• Technical Enhancement: Partner with vendors, IT architects, and internal stakeholders to expand the scope of data and enhance overall technical capabilities.
• Roadmap Prioritization: Prioritize technical requirements to ensure the delivery roadmap provides maximum strategic value to the business.
• Project Planning: Create and manage delivery plans, proactively communicating issues, developments, and recommendations for improvements across the organization.
• Best Practices: Ensure all developments adhere to industry best practices while effectively managing demand, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
• Executive Reporting: Regularly present the status of business and operations to senior leadership.
• Team Leadership: Conduct timely performance management, identify training and development needs, and enhance overall staff productivity and harmony.

Requirements & Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this role:

• Nationality: Must be a Sri Lankan citizen.
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years of age as of the closing date (October 17, 2026).
• Academic Pathway 1: A Bachelor's Degree (in Engineering, Computer Science, General Science with Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Applied Statistics, etc.) combined with at least 04 years of post-qualifying work experience at the Executive level (including a minimum of 02 years at the Senior Executive Level). Must also possess an industry certification from a relevant Professional Body.
• Academic Pathway 2: A full professional qualification equivalent to a degree, combined with at least 05 years of experience in a relevant discipline (including a minimum of 02 years at the Senior Executive level).
