Position Summary

  • Role: Early Childhood Teacher (Ages 3 to 5)

  • Company: Pandani Montessori Early Learning Centre

  • Location: Ulverstone, Devonport & North West Tasmania, Australia

  • Employment Type: Full-Time

  • Salary: $79,000 – $80,000 per year

  • Visa Sponsorship: 482 Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa Sponsorship available

Key Responsibilities & Role Details

  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs tailored for children aged 3 to 5 years.

  • Integrate a special interest or strength in art, music, and dance to inspire children through creative and expressive arts as part of their learning journey.

  • Provide high-quality care and education while promoting the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children.

  • Uphold Child Safe Standards, strong child protection practices, and a culture of respect, inclusion, and wellbeing.

  • Collaborate effectively with a supportive team, participate in regular team meetings and planning sessions, and contribute to decision-making processes and the centre's direction.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Must meet equivalent ACECQA-approved requirements, such as a BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies, BA in Early Years: Teaching and Learning, or Postgraduate Certificate in Early Years Teaching Birth to 5.

  • Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of child development and learning theories, ability to develop and implement engaging educational programs, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Special Interests: Demonstrated passion or experience in art, music, and/or dance within an early childhood setting.

  • Language & Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English skills, excellent customer service skills, and an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
