Available Positions & Requirements
1. Supervisor (Electrical) Grade III
Salary Scale: Rs. 51,095 - 7 x 540; 10 x 640 - 60,575 p.m. [U-MT 1 (III)]
Age Limit: 18 to 45 years
Method of Recruitment: Selection by interview.
Qualifications: National Certificate in Technology (NCT) or equivalent with 3 years' experience; OR G.C.E. (O/L) in 06 subjects at not more than 2 sittings with at least 5 years' experience as a Supervisor in a government, local government, state corporation, or recognized engineering establishment.
2. Swimming Pool Supervisor Grade III
Salary Scale: Rs. 49,475 - 17 x 540 - 58,655 p.m. [U-MN 1(III)]
Method of Recruitment: Selection by a trade test and interview.
Qualifications: G.C.E. (O/L) in 6 subjects with 5 credit passes (including Sinhala/Tamil/English Language or Literature and Mathematics) in not more than 2 sittings, plus at least 2 passes at G.C.E. (A/L). Must possess certificates for swimming/teaching four basic strokes, first aid, and lifeguard duties. Computer literacy is an added advantage.
3. Gymnasium Supervisor Grade III
Salary Scale: Rs. 49,475 - 17 x 540 - 58,655 p.m. [U-MN 1(III)]
Method of Recruitment: Selection by a trade test and interview.
Qualifications: G.C.E. (O/L) in 6 subjects with 5 credits (including languages/literature and mathematics) in not more than 2 sittings, plus 2 passes at G.C.E. (A/L). Must have knowledge in machine maintenance, exercise session planning, first aid, and computer literacy.
4. Marshal Grade II
Salary Scale: Rs. 71,365 - 18 x 1,190 - 92,785 p.m. [U-MN 3(II)]
Age Limit: 30 to 45 years
Method of Recruitment: Selection by a structured interview.
Qualifications: A university degree with specified physical standards (Male height 5'5", chest 32" deflated; Female height 5'4") with preference for military/police experience and sports; OR experience not below the rank of Major in the Armed Forces or equivalent in Sri Lanka Police.
5. Technical Officer Grade II Segment "A" (Health Center)
Salary Scale: Rs. 57,435 - 7 x 640; 9 x 890 - 69,925 p.m. [U-MT 1 (II)]
Age Limit: 18 to 45 years
Method of Recruitment: Selection by a practical test and interview (restricted to Medical Laboratory Technology qualifications for the Health Centre).
Qualifications: National Diploma in Technology, HND, or equivalent diploma of at least 2 years full-time duration in Medical Laboratory Technology or relevant fields with 1 year experience.
6. Management Assistant (Store-Keeping) Grade III
Salary Scale: Rs. 49,475 - 17 x 540 - 58,655 p.m. [U-MN 1(III)]
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Method of Recruitment: Written examination (75%) and interview (25%).
Qualifications: G.C.E. (O/L) in 6 subjects at one sitting with credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil, English/English Literature, and Mathematics, plus passing all subjects at G.C.E. (A/L) at one sitting. Post-specific qualification: 1 year experience in store-keeping and/or a pass in Commerce at O/L or Accountancy at A/L.
7. Management Assistant (Book-Keeping) Grade III
Salary Scale: Rs. 49,475 - 17 x 540 - 58,655 p.m. [U-MN 1(III)]
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Method of Recruitment: Written examination (75%) and interview (25%).
Qualifications: Standard O/L and A/L qualifications as above. Post-specific qualification: National Certificate for Accounting Technicians or equivalent, OR A/L qualification in the Commerce Stream.
8. Management Assistant (Shroff) Grade III
Salary Scale: Rs. 49,475 - 17 x 540 - 58,655 p.m. [U-MN 1(III)]
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Method of Recruitment: Written examination (75%) and interview (25%).
Qualifications: Standard O/L and A/L qualifications, with one A/L pass required in Accountancy.
9. Assistant Farm Manager
Salary Scale: Rs. 71,365 - 18 x 1,190 - 92,785 p.m. [U-MN 3 (II)]
Age Limit: 18 to 45 years
Method of Recruitment: Selection by interview.
Qualifications: Special Degree in Agriculture (preference for 1 year post-graduation field experience) OR a 2-year Diploma in Agriculture with 3 years of field experience.
10. Technical Officer (Mechanical) Grade III
Salary Scale: Rs. 51,095 - 7 x 540: 10 x 640 - 60,575 [U-MT 1 (III)]
Age Limit: 18 to 45 years
Method of Recruitment: Written and/or practical test and interview.
Qualifications: Pass in 3 subjects at G.C.E. (A/L) in Physical Science or Engineering Technology/ICT under Technology stream, AND an NVQ Level 5 Certificate of Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
