• Employment Basis: Permanent placement in the government healthcare sector upon successful completion of the training program.

Key Responsibilities & Training Focus

• Undergo comprehensive orientation and coordination training structured for public healthcare systems.

• Coordinate patient care services, clinical workflows, and nursing administration across state medical facilities.

• Ensure compliance with national healthcare regulations, medical ethics, and hospital safety standards.

Candidate Eligibility & Requirements

• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka of good character.

• Age Limit: Must be not less than 18 years and not more than 35 years of age.

• Educational Qualifications: Must possess a B.Sc. (Nursing) Degree awarded by a state or foreign university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a university established under a Sri Lankan Act of Parliament, or under relevant provisions of the Universities Act. The effective date of the degree must be prior to the cutoff date.

• Council Registration: Must be registered with the Sri Lanka Nursing Council by the date of the interview.

• Physical Fitness: Must be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of Sri Lanka.
