Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited invites applications from qualified citizens of Sri Lanka to fill the vacant post of Fitter under the PL-2 service category.

Position Summary

  • Role: Fitter (PL-2 Grade III)

  • Institution: Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited

  • Location: Kapuwatte, Ja-Ela, Sri Lanka

  • Employment Type: Permanent (Entitled to Employees' Provident Fund and Employees' Trust Fund)

  • Working Shifts: Night shifts are applicable.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

1. Educational & Professional Qualifications:

  • Education: Passed at least two (02) subjects at the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) examination.

  • Technical Qualifications: National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 or 3 in the relevant field recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC), AND a minimum of 2 years of training/practical experience in the trade.

2. General Eligibility & Demographics:

  • Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.

  • Age Limit: Between 18 and 45 years of age as of the closing date of applications.

  • Physical & Mental Fitness: Must possess sound physical and mental fitness to effectively discharge duties.

  • Character: Must be of excellent character.

Salary Scale & Benefits

  • Salary Scale: PL 2-2025 Grade III (Rs. 42,300 - 10 x 490 - 10 x 540 - 10 x 590 - 12 x 630 - up to Rs. 66,060/- p.m. effective from 01.04.2025, with initial placement at the basic step of Rs. 40,008/- in accordance with Management Services Circular No. 01/2025).

  • Allowances: Government-approved allowances are payable.

  • Provident Funds: Company contributes 15% to EPF (employee contributes 10%) and 3% to ETF.
