Lake House (The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited - ANCL) is looking for experienced Court Reporters to cover legal proceedings and judicial news for the Dinamina newspaper.

Position Summary

• Role: Court Reporter (Dinamina Newspaper)

• Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

• Employment Type: Full-Time / Media Correspondent

Key Coverage Locations

Selected reporters will cover judicial proceedings across major courts in Colombo, including:

• Supreme Court

• Court of Appeal

• Commercial High Court

• Special High Courts

• Fort Magistrate's Court

• Hulftsdorp / Colombo Magistrate's Courts

• Maligakanda Court

• Sudden Death Inquiries Court

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Preference will be given to individuals currently engaged in court reporting for print media.

• Knowledge & Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of the law and legal procedures.

  • Strong understanding of media ethics and journalism standards.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Proficiency in English.
