General Candidate Requirements & Conditions

• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.

• Health & Character: Must possess excellent character and physical/mental fitness to serve anywhere within the Central Province.

• Age Limits: Generally between 18 and 45 years of age as of the closing date of applications (age limits may vary or not apply for internal public service candidates as per scheme rules).

• Service Conditions: Permanent and pensionable appointments subject to an initial probationary period.
