Position Summary

• Role: Drone Pilot

• Company: Lankem Ceylon PLC

• Location: Colombo-10, Sri Lanka (with extensive travel to field locations)

• Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in drone operation of agro cluster for monitoring, crop spraying, and data collection in agricultural fields and estates.

• Support R&D trial activities.

• Support market development activities in assigned regions.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with farmers and relevant stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: HND and NVQ Level 6 qualification in drone operation.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field.

• Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of agricultural activities, knowledge of agricultural practices, and the farming sector will be an added advantage.

  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in field locations.
