Accountant

Wasana Nature Resort is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and responsible Accountant to join our team at our Kadana location.

Position Summary

• Role: Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and update the general ledger.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Record daily financial transactions and perform bank reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.

• Maintain proper documentation, including invoices, receipts, and payment records.

• Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting.

• Ensure timely completion of accounting activities and compliance with relevant procedures.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Part qualification in AAT, CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification.

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role will be an added advantage.

• Practical knowledge of QuickBooks (QB) accounting software is required.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and other accounting applications.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
