• Temporary Assistant Lecturer: Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Fisheries, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Zoology

• Temporary Demonstrator: Botany, Chemistry, Fisheries, Physics, Zoology

• Temporary Instructor: Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computing

• Temporary Research Assistant: Chemistry, Zoology

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

1. A Degree with specialization in the relevant subject with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours; OR

2. A Degree with specialization in the relevant subject with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours; OR

3. (a) A Degree with specialization in the relevant subject without Honours or any other degree with at least Second Class Honours, and (b) a recognized postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.

• Note: Candidates who are awaiting the results of their final degree examinations may also apply for the posts of Temporary Demonstrator or Temporary Instructor.

Salary Scales & Benefits

• Temporary Assistant Lecturer / Temporary Research Assistant: Fixed monthly salary of Rs. 85,305/- (subject to deductions as per Commission Circular No. 02/2025(1)).

• Temporary Demonstrator / Temporary Instructor: Fixed monthly salary of Rs. 68,145/- (subject to deductions as per Commission Circular No. 02/2025(1)).

• Additional allowances approved by the University Grants Commission will also be paid.
