Project Assistant

• Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of Project Assistant (On Contract) at the Faculty Learner Support Unit, Faculty of Natural Sciences for the Colombo Regional Center (CRC) and Jaffna Regional Center (JRC) of The Open University of Sri Lanka.

• Role: Project Assistant (On Contract)

• Department: Faculty Learner Support Unit, Faculty of Natural Sciences

• Institution: The Open University of Sri Lanka

• Locations: Colombo Regional Center (CRC) & Jaffna Regional Center (JRC)

• Nature of Work: Working on learner support activities and acting as Graduate Young Mentors (GYM) for Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) at CRC and JRC. This is a full-time position on a contract basis.

• Duration: Initially for three months, extendable up to two years based on performance.

• Application Deadline: 10th November 2026

Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Applicants must have obtained a BSc degree (NS/S1) from The Open University of Sri Lanka.

• Preference: Applicants residing around the Colombo (CRC) and Jaffna (JRC) areas are preferred.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Monthly Allowance: A fixed monthly allowance of Rs. 40,000/- (inclusive of EPF and ETF) will be paid.
