Demonstrator

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of Temporary Demonstrator at the Department of Plant Sciences, Kandy Regional Centre of The Open University of Sri Lanka.

Position Summary & Nature of Appointment

• Role: Temporary Demonstrator

• Department: Department of Plant Sciences

• Institution: The Open University of Sri Lanka

• Location: Kandy Regional Centre, Polgolla, Kandy, Sri Lanka

• Duration: Initially for six (06) months, extendable up to two years based on performance

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must fulfill either of the following educational criteria:

1. B.Sc. Honors Degree in Botany / Plant Sciences; OR

2. B.Sc. General Degree with Botany / Plant Sciences as a subject and at least a 2nd Class Lower Division Pass.

• Preference: Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience at the undergraduate level.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Monthly Salary Scale: Rs. 68,145/- + Cost of Living + Monthly Allowance (including UPF).
