Position Summary

• Role: Assistant Farm Managers

• Locations: Pattipola & Ambewela, Sri Lanka

• Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily farm operations.

• Manage livestock activities, cultivation activities, crop production, and pasture management to support livestock requirements.

• Monitor grazing patterns, fodder, and crop cultivation practices.

• Ensure the effective utilization and maintenance of agricultural vehicles and equipment.

• Supervise farm employees and ensure adherence to operational standards, safety practices, and work schedules.

• Maintain proper records of grazing, cultivation, crop production, fodder production, and farm activities.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. in Agriculture with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; OR

• Higher National Diploma / NVQ 6 in Agriculture or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Sound knowledge and practical experience in cattle farming, crop management, fodder production, and farm management.

• Experience in operating and managing agricultural vehicles and equipment.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a farm environment.

• Computer literacy, with the ability to use MS Office applications and basic computer systems for farm records, reporting, and data management.
