Investigation Officer

The National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) under the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Water Supply invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of Inquiry Officer on an assignment basis.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 08 years of experience in conducting domestic departmental preliminary inquiries, disciplinary inquiries, and related tasks concerning criminal investigations, court cases, or labor disputes within a public sector organization or government department.

• Preference: Priority will be given to retired officers who served in executive, senior-level, or supervisory posts in public corporations or public sector organizations.

Recruitment Criteria & Remuneration Structure

• Method of Selection: Interview

• Payment Terms:

  • Recording of Evidence: Rs. 3,500.00 per party

  • Interim Reports: Rs. 5,000.00 per interim report

  • Final Report: Rs. 10,000.00

• Additional Benefits: Entitled to government-approved cost-of-living allowances. Transport facilities will be provided when required to attend preliminary inquiries conducted outside the Head Office premises at Sir Chittampalam A. Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 02.
