The Wayamba University of Sri Lanka invites internal applications from eligible members of the permanent academic staff (Senior Professor, Professor, Associate Professor, and Senior Lecturer Gr. I/II categories) for key leadership and administrative roles across its Kuliyapitiya and Makandura premises.

Position Openings & Details

1. Proctor (Kuliyapitiya and Makandura Premises)

• Role Overview: Proctors are expected to carry out disciplinary and supervisory duties as per the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka By-Laws No. 01 of 2018 and other applicable provisions.

• Duration: One (01) year.

• Remuneration: Monthly honorarium equivalent to 15% of the basic salary of the substantive post as at 30.04.2025.

2. Coordinator / Student Support Services and Welfare (Kuliyapitiya & Makandura Premises)

• Role Overview: Liaise with student services, registration, service divisions (Medical Center, Physical Education Unit, Maintenance Division, Security Division), Student Counseling Systems, and the Career Guidance Unit.

• Employment Basis: Part-time basis for a period of one (01) year.

• Remuneration: Monthly allowance of Rs. 2,000/-.

3. Coordinator / External Affairs Unit (Makandura Premises)

• Role Overview: Establish relationships and liaise with industries in both the private and state sectors to enhance institutional goodwill and university development.

• Employment Basis: Part-time basis for a period of one (01) year.

• Remuneration: Monthly allowance of Rs. 2,000/-.

• Eligible Applicants: Internal candidates belonging to the permanent Academic Staff: Senior Professor, Professor, Associate Professor, and Senior Lecturer Gr. I/II categories of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.
