Junior Manager

The Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) invites applications from suitably qualified permanent employees of the Authority to fill the post of Junior Manager (Computer Services) under the JLM salary category.

Position Summary

• Post: Junior Manager (Computer Services)

• Salary Category: JLM

• Basic Salary: Rs. 75,065/- (with annual increments of Rs. 1,440/-)

• Employer: Sri Lanka Ports Authority

• Assignment Scope: Selected candidates will be required to serve in any Division or Section of the Authority and across any part of the island as determined by SLPA.

Qualifications & Experience Routes

Candidates must satisfy one (01) of the following eligibility routes:

Route (a)

• Educational & Professional Qualifications:

  • A Degree in Physical Science, Mathematics, IT, or any other Degree with Computer Science as a subject from a recognized University; OR

  • A Degree from a recognized University AND a 1-year Diploma in IT from a recognized Professional Institution.

• Experience: With three (03) years of active service in SLPA.

Route (b)

• Educational & Professional Qualifications:

  • A 1-year Diploma in IT from a recognized Professional Institution.

• Experience: With ten (10) years of active service in SLPA.

Route (c)

• Educational & Professional Qualifications:

  • Passed G.C.E. (O/L) with credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil Language, Mathematics, and English in not more than two sittings.

• Experience:

  • Employees in the Service Grade (SG) with five (05) years of relevant experience in SLPA.

  • Performance must be satisfactory.
