Position Summary

• Role: Assistant General Manager - Finance

Key Responsibilities & Role Overview

• Lead the financial and accounting operations of the premier state-owned development bank.

• Oversee financial reporting, capital allocation, budget planning, and treasury integration across RDB's 271 islandwide branches.

• Ensure full compliance with Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) financial regulations, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

• Provide strategic financial guidance and MIS reports to the executive management and Board of Directors.

Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria

Educational & Professional Background

• Must possess a membership of CA, CIMA, or ACCA; OR

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / Finance from a recognized University.

• Added Advantage: A Postgraduate qualification from a recognized university or a professional qualification in Banking.

Experience Requirements

• Total of 15 years of working experience.

• Out of the total experience, at least 08 years must be in the banking or financial sector.

• Within the financial sector experience, at least 03 years must have been served at the Senior Management Level.

Age Limit

• Below 55 years.

• Note: The upper age limit is not applicable to internal (PSB) candidates.
