📌 Available Positions & Qualifications

1. Engineer - Civil (02 Posts)

• Salary: Rs. 180,000/= + Cost of Living (COL) Allowance (Salary Code: D in MSD Circular: 02/2026)

• Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree / UGC-recognized equivalent qualification in the relevant field; AND

  • Associate Membership or a similar professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional body in the relevant field.

2. Engineer - Mechanical (01 Post)

• Salary: Rs. 180,000/= + COL Allowance (Salary Code: D in MSD Circular: 02/2026)

• Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree / UGC-recognized equivalent qualification in the relevant field; AND

  • Associate Membership or a similar professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional body.

3. Engineer - Electrical (01 Post)

• Salary: Rs. 180,000/= + COL Allowance (Salary Code: D in MSD Circular: 02/2026)

• Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree / UGC-recognized equivalent qualification in the relevant field; AND

  • Associate Membership or a similar professional qualification obtained from a recognized professional body.

4. Engineering Assistant - Civil (02 Posts)

• Salary: Rs. 110,000/= + COL Allowance (Salary Code: F in MSD Circular: 02/2026)

• Qualifications (Any of the following options):

  1. A Bachelor's Degree/UGC-recognized equivalent qualification in the relevant field, OR a certificate of proficiency not below NVQ Level 7 in the relevant technical field issued by an accepted TVEC institute.

  2. A certificate of proficiency not below NVQ Level 6 in the relevant technical field AND at least 03 years of experience in civil engineering specialization.

  3. A certificate of proficiency not below NVQ Level 5 in the relevant technical field AND at least 06 years of experience in the required specialization.

🔍 Special Notice on Engineering Degrees

All Bachelor of Science degrees in engineering referenced above must be 4-year B.Sc. Engineering degrees issued by a University approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka and the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL), satisfying all educational prerequisites to obtain Associate Membership.
