Intern - Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.

• Write clean and maintainable code under the guidance of experienced software engineers.

• Participate in technical discussions, team meetings, and requirement discussions.

• Participate confidently in client calls with overseas clients when required.

• Communicate technical information and project updates clearly and professionally.

• Assist in preparing and delivering software demonstrations and presentations.

• Support developers in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.

• Perform testing and assist in resolving software defects.

• Collaborate with Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and other team members.

• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.

• Learn and work with new technologies, tools, and development frameworks.

Requirements

• Currently following or having obtained a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT.

• Basic understanding of programming concepts and software development principles.

• Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, or similar.

• Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

• Good understanding of databases and SQL will be an advantage.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Confident in communicating with overseas clients through online meetings and calls.

• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
