MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, FOREIGN EMPLOYMENT AND TOURISM OPEN COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION FOR RECRUITMENT TO GRADE III OF THE SRI LANKA FOREIGN SERVICE – 2026

The Public Service Commission is calling for applications from eligible Sri Lankan citizens to fill 25 vacancies in Grade III of the Sri Lanka Foreign Service. Eligible applicants must hold a degree from a recognized university and be between the ages of 22 and 28 as of the closing date, though current public servants may apply up to age 35.  

Candidates will be selected based on a comprehensive written examination covering general knowledge, world affairs, language proficiency, and intelligence, followed by an interview for eligibility assessment. Applications must be submitted online through the Department of Examinations website (www.doenets.lk) between September 7, 2026, and October 6, 2026.
