The Department of Excise of Sri Lanka invites applications from qualified individuals for the post of Tourist Bungalow Warden on a contract basis at the Polonnaruwa Tourist Bungalow.

Salary Scale & Allowances (PL-1 2025 / Public Administration Circular 10/2025)

• For the year 2026: LKR 56,663/= (38,863/= + 17,800/=) per month

• For the year 2027: LKR 57,800/= (40,000/= + 17,800/=) per month

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the tourist bungalow operations and taking full charge of the premises.

• Welcoming guests, ensuring comfortable accommodations, and organizing food and beverage services.

• Maintaining responsibility for the bungalow buildings, equipment, and inventory.

• Ensuring the bungalow and its surroundings are kept clean and hygienic at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: Passed 6 subjects at the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) examination in not more than two sittings with at least two credit passes.

• Professional Qualifications: Sound knowledge in Eastern and Western culinary arts/cooking will be considered an added advantage.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in food preparation and catering services within a rest house, hotel, or recognized institution.

• Age Limit: Applicants must be not less than 18 years and not more than 50 years of age. Candidates must possess an exemplary character.
