Position Overview

The Department of Management Studies, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya is calling for applications from qualified candidates for the post of Temporary Lecturer. The appointed candidates will deliver undergraduate lectures, conduct tutorials, and support academic activities in bilingual instruction mediums.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Educational Background: Must hold a BBA, BBM, B.Sc., or B.Com Honours/Special Degree in Organizational Management or Business Administration.

  • Academic Merit: A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.3 or above at the time of application.

  • Language Proficiency: Must be capable of teaching bilingually in either:

    • English and Sinhala, OR

    • English and Tamil.

Preferred Subject Specializations

Preference will be given to candidates capable of teaching one or more of the following course modules:

  • Business Communication

  • Basis of Social Sciences

  • Business Economics

  • Public Sector Management

  • Strategic Management

  • Research Methodology

  • Business Law

  • E-Commerce

  • Total Quality Management

  • Managerial Economics

  • Basic Econometrics

  • Development Economics
