Qualifications 

External Candidates

a.Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects in one sitting with credit passes for four (04) subjects including. 

i.Sinhala/Tamil        ii.English language       iii.Mathematics 

AND

b.Having passed three subjects (other than the Common General Paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination. 

Internal Candidates  

Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects with credit passes for four (04) subjects including

i. Sinhala/Tamil      ii. English language     iii. Mathematics 

AND

Having completed a minimum of five (05) years of service in a permanent post under the above employee category in Sri Lanka Institute of Textile and Apparel.   

Age Limit

Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years. The upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.  

Salary Scale:

MA 1 – 2 – 2025:   Rs. 46,220/- 10 x 540 – 7 x 630 – 12 x 1,080 – 12 x 1,280 – 84,350/-

As per Schedule II of DMS Circular No. 01/2025, your basic monthly salary for the year 2026 will be Rs. 43,312/-, and government-approved, statutory allowances will be added.
