- Organization: Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development – Sustainable Tourism Sector Development Project (STSDP), funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
- Project Purpose: Upgrading tourism-related infrastructure and facilities across premier destinations in Dambulla (Sigiriya) and Trincomalee.
- Available Vacancies & Locations:
- PMU (Colombo): Additional Project Director (Civil Engineering – Category B), Senior Quantity Surveyor (Category C), Project Officer (Conservation – Category F).
- PIU (Dambulla): Senior Safeguard Officer (Environment – Category E).
- PIU (Trincomalee): Senior Project Engineer (Civil Engineering – Category C), Senior Safeguard Officer (Environment – Category E).
- Employment Type & Terms: One-year contract basis with performance-based annual extensions up to project completion.
- Remuneration: Salaries and benefits adhere to Management Services Circular No. 02/2026.
- Eligibility & Experience: Requires relevant Bachelor’s degrees, postgraduate qualifications, professional charter/memberships, or NVQ levels (5 to 7) paired with relevant managerial or specialized field experience; prior foreign-funded project exposure is an added advantage.
