Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy (SLCARP) – Accountant Job Vacancy

• Organization: Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy (SLCARP), under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation.
• Designation: Accountant (Grade: MM 1-1).
• Salary Scale: MM 1-1-2025: Rs. 91,690 – 10 x 2,480 – 15 x 3,450 – Rs. 168,240 (per Management Services Circular 01/2025).
• Eligibility & Qualifications:
• Degree in Commerce or Accounting from a UGC-recognized university, OR
• Intermediate level qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL), OR
• Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA).
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualifying accounting and finance experience in a government department, state corporation, statutory board, or recognized commercial entity.
• Working experience in a computerized environment is considered an added advantage.
• Age Limit: Between 22 and 45 years (upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates).
• General Requirements: Must be a Sri Lankan citizen, physically and mentally fit to serve anywhere in the island, and of excellent moral character.
