• Company: Litro Gas Lanka Limited, Sri Lanka’s leading LPG provider.
• Role: Welder / Fitter (පෑස්සුම්කරු / වැද්දුම්කරු).
• Core Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Take site measurements and fabricate metal piping systems and steel structures.
• Perform welding operations using TIG, MIG, and MMA (ARC) techniques.
• Conduct surface preparations, cutting, fit-ups, and routine maintenance inspections.
• Adhere strictly to industrial safety guidelines and work standards.
• Key Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum 2-year full-time welding training from a recognized technical institute.
• NVQ Level 4 certification or equivalent qualification.
• Proven proficiency in TIG, MIG, and MMA (ARC) welding methods.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and identify welding defects visually.
• Prior experience as a pipe/TIG welder or holding a 6G certification is an added advantage.
