Job Vacancy: Drone Pilot (ඩ්‍රෝන නියමුවෙකු) – Lankem Ceylon PLC

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct professional drone flight operations across designated agricultural zones and plantation estates for crop monitoring, fertilizer/pesticide spraying, and data collection.
  • Assist the Research and Development (R&D) department with field trials, tests, and data gathering.
  • Support marketing and market development initiatives in assigned field operational areas.
  • Establish and sustain collaborative relationships with local farmers and key agricultural stakeholders.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • Technical Qualification: Higher National Diploma (HND) or NVQ Level 6 qualification in Drone Operations.
  • Domain Knowledge: Basic understanding of agricultural practices (practical farming background or field agriculture experience is an added advantage).
  • Experience: Minimum of three (03) years of proven working experience in the relevant field.
  • Field Mobility: Willingness and capability to travel regularly to remote areas and actively engage in hands-on field operations.
