Job Vacancy: Heavy Vehicle Machine Operator (JCB Operator) – Pasbage Korale Pradeshiya Sabha

• Organization: Pasbage Korale Pradeshiya Sabha, Rambukkpitiya.
• Position: Heavy Vehicle Machine Operator / JCB Operator (බරවාහන යන්ත්‍ර ක්‍රියාකරු).
• Vacancies: 01 Post.
• Employment Basis: Daily wage basis depending on service requirements.
• Salary Scale: PL-1 – 2025: LKR 40,000 – 10×450 – 10×490 – 10×540 – 12×590 – LKR 61,880 (calculated on a daily basis subject to this scale).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) in not more than 2 sittings with 6 subjects including 2 credit passes (must have passed at least 5 subjects in one sitting).
• Driving License: Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic.
• Technical Experience: Sound practical experience in operating JCB machinery.
• Additional Qualification: NVQ Level 4 certificate in machine operation from a recognized government institute is considered an added qualification.
• Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
• General Criteria: Excellent moral character, and sound physical and mental fitness to carry out duties.
