Job Vacancy: Internal Auditor – Sri Lanka State Plantations Corporation (SLSPC)

  • Organization: Sri Lanka State Plantations Corporation (Ministry of Plantation and Community Infrastructure).
  • Position: Internal Auditor (අභ්‍යන්තර විගණක).
  • Salary Scale: LKR 91,690 – 10 × 2,480 – 15 × 3,450 – 168,240/- p.m. (MM 1-1-2025 - II, as per Management Services Circular No. 01/2025 Schedule II) + government-approved allowances.
  • Benefits: EPF / Ceylon Planters' Provident Society (10% employee, up to 12% employer) and ETF (3% employer).
  • Age Limit: 22 to 45 years (upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates).
  • Application Closing Date: On or before 22nd October 2026.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • External Candidates (Option 1 or Option 2):
  • Option 1: UGC-recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Administration (Finance), Commerce, or a related field + at least 1 year of post-qualifying relevant experience.
  • Option 2: Intermediate Examination pass from a recognized Chartered Professional Accounting Institute in the relevant field + at least 1 year of post-qualifying relevant experience.
  • Internal Candidates (Option 1 or Option 2):
  • Qualifications stipulated above for external applicants, OR
  • Minimum of 5 years of satisfactory service in a Junior Management (JM) category post in the relevant discipline at SLSPC.

Selection Process

  • Method: Structured Interview conducted by an appointed board.
  • Marking Criteria (100 Marks Total):
  • Relevant Additional Experience: 30 marks
  • Relevant Additional Educational Qualifications: 30 marks
  • Other Achievements: 15 marks
  • Interview Performance: 25 marks
