Job Vacancy: Registrar – University of Jaffna

• Organization: University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
• Position: Registrar (Chief Administrative Officer).
• Role Summary: Acts as the custodian of university records and property, serving as secretary to the Council and Senate subject to the direction of the Vice-Chancellor.
• Salary Scale: Applicable University Commission circular salary scale (U-EX 2(I) / U-EX 3 category).
• Benefits: University Provident Fund / Pension Fund scheme, Employees' Trust Fund (ETF - 3%), and Gratuity provisions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Academic Qualifications: Degree with postgraduate qualifications at Master's level in Public Administration, Management, or a related discipline from a recognized university/HEI.
• Administrative Track Record: Extensive executive/senior management experience in general administration, human resource management, or university governance (minimum stipulated years as Senior Assistant Secretary/Registrar, Deputy Secretary/Registrar, or executive level equivalent in public/corporate sector).
• Selection Criteria: Selection via structured interview based on UGC guidelines.
