Executive Positions

• Manager – Programme Services (HM 1-1) – 01 Post:
• Salary Scale: LKR 140,640 – 15 × 4,100 – 202,140 (as per MSD Circular No. 01/2025 Schedule II).
• Qualifications: Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication / Film & TV Production + Master’s Degree + 12 years managerial experience in TV programme production.
• Age Limit: 35 – 55 years (upper limit waived for internal staff).
• Assistant Managers (MM 1-1) – 08 Posts Total (Salary: LKR 91,690 – 168,240 | Age: 22 – 45 years):
• NLE & Graphic (01 Post): Relevant Degree + 1 year experience in NLE, video editing, or graphic animation.
• News – ITN (01 Post) / Lakhanda (01 Post) / Vasantham TV (01 Post): Relevant Degree or NVQ Level 7 + 1 year relevant production experience.
• Presentation (01 Post): Relevant Degree in media, management, IT, or related fields + 1 year experience in programme scheduling/presentation in TV broadcasting.
• Technical Services (01 Post): Degree in media or electronic/electrical/telecom engineering + 1 year experience in camera, lighting, audio recording, or ENG.
• Set & Make-up (01 Post): Degree in media, design, or multimedia + 1 year relevant experience.

Junior Manager Positions (JM 1-1: LKR 72,650 – 122,970 | Age: 22 – 45 years)

• Senior Video Editor / Senior Graphic Animator / Senior Video Editor & Graphic (03 Posts): Degree or NVQ Level 7 (or NVQ Level 6 with 5 yrs / NVQ Level 5 with 10 yrs experience) + practical trade test pass.
• Senior Presentation Officer – ITN / VTV (02 Posts): Degree, NVQ Level 7, or NVQ Level 6 (5 yrs) / Level 5 (10 yrs) in TV scheduling.
• Senior Set Designer (01 Post): Degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Design, NVQ Level 7, or NVQ Level 6 with 5 years experience + practical test pass.
• Senior Make-up Artist (01 Post): NVQ Level 7, or NVQ Level 6 (5 yrs) / Level 5 (10 yrs) experience in TV broadcasting.
• Senior Producer – News / Current Affairs / VTV / VFM (04 Posts): Relevant Degree, NVQ Level 7, or Diploma (NVQ 6 with 5 yrs) / NVQ Level 5 with 10 years experience.
• Senior Camera Journalist (01 Post): Relevant Degree, NVQ Level 7, or NVQ Level 6 (5 yrs) / Level 5 (10 yrs) experience in camera work, lighting, and ENG.

Operational & Support Positions

• Producer (Trailer) (MA 4 – 01 Post): Degree or NVQ Level 7 (or NVQ Level 6 with 5 yrs / Level 5 with 10 yrs) + trade test pass. Salary: LKR 64,320 – 113,170 | Age: 22 – 45.
• Programme Controller / Presentation Officer / Library Assistant / Production Officer Technical (MA 2-2 – 05 Posts Total): NVQ Level 5 in relevant subject stream. Salary: LKR 50,540 – 90,270 | Age: 18 – 45.
• Assistant Producer – Programme / News / Vasantham TV (MA 1-2 – 05 Posts Total): G.C.E. O/L in 6 subjects with 4 credits (Sinhala/Tamil, English, Maths) + G.C.E. A/L in 3 subjects + language proficiency of the channel. Salary: LKR 46,220 – 84,350 | Age: 18 – 45.
• Set Assistant (PL 2 – 02 Posts): NVQ Level 2 certification in relevant trade. Salary: LKR 42,300 – 66,060 | Age: 18 – 45.
