Job Vacancy: Director (Part-Time) – Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO)

• Position: Director (Part-Time) – Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO), formerly University Business Linkage (UBL) Cell / TTO.
• Tenure: Appointed for a term of three (03) years.
• Application Closing Date: On or before 26.10.2026.

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and manage overall operations of the KTTO as stipulated in UGC Circular No. 10/2016.
• Act as the university's focal point to transfer research outputs, innovations, and technologies to industry and society.
• Foster research commercialization, inventions, industry-academia partnerships, and sustainable socio-economic development.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Target Group: Senior Academic Staff Members of the University of Ruhuna holding the substantive rank of:
• Senior Professor
• Professor
• Associate Professor
• Senior Lecturer Grade I
• Senior Lecturer Grade II
• Experience: Appropriate academic background, professional experience, research innovation record, and proven engagement in industry linkages relevant to knowledge and technology transfer.
