Job Vacancies: Ruwanwella Water Supply Project – NWSDB

• Organization: National Water Supply and Drainage Board (Ministry of Housing, Construction and Water Supply).
• Project: Ruwanwella Water Supply Project.
• Employment Type: Project Contract Basis (initially 1 year, extendable based on performance under MSD Circular 02/2026).

Available Positions, Remuneration & Qualifications

• Engineer (Mechanical) – 01 Post (Salary Code: D / Engineer I, MSD Circular 02/2026)
• Option 01 (Salary: LKR 240,000/= + Cost of Living Allowance): UGC/IESL-recognized 4-year B.Sc. Degree in Engineering + Associate Membership of a recognized professional body with at least 5 years of relevant experience, OR Class II/III All-Island Services officer with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Option 02 (Salary: LKR 190,000/= + Cost of Living Allowance): UGC/IESL-recognized 4-year B.Sc. Degree in Engineering + Associate Membership with at least 2 years of relevant experience, OR Class II/III All-Island Services officer with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Option 03 (Salary: LKR 180,000/= + Cost of Living Allowance): UGC/IESL-recognized 4-year B.Sc. Degree in Engineering + Associate Membership in the relevant field.
• Management Assistant – 01 Post (Salary Code: MSD 02/2026 & Public Admin Circular 10/2025)
• Salary: LKR 69,015/= + Cost of Living Allowance.
• Educational Qualifications: G.C.E. O/L in 6 subjects in one sitting with 4 credits (including Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics) + G.C.E. A/L in 3 subjects (excluding General English).
• Technical / Professional Qualifications: Minimum 6-month Diploma in Computer Studies or English from a recognized TVEC-approved government or private institution (or equivalent).
