Network Administrator

Job Vacancy: Network Administrator – People's Bank

• Organization: People's Bank, Sri Lanka.
• Position: Network Administrator (Non-banking stream, equivalent to Grade of Assistant Manager 3-III).
• Employment Type: Contract basis (with annual performance evaluations).
• Remuneration: Attractive and negotiable package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
• Application Closing Date: On or before 26.10.2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, support, and maintain LAN/WAN, internet systems, routers, switches, and firewalls across the bank’s network infrastructure.
• Monitor network uptime and performance to prevent disruptions, outages, and cyber attacks.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and administer Firewalls and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Implement and uphold robust enterprise network security mechanisms and protocols.
• Execute preventative maintenance, diagnose network issues, and perform system enhancements.

Key Requirements & Eligibility

• Nationality: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from a recognized university or UGC-approved institute.
• Certifications: Professional networking certification such as CCNA or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Network Administrator or equivalent role managing and troubleshooting LAN/WAN infrastructure, network security, and firewalls.
• Age Limit: Preferably below 35 years as of the closing date of applications.
