Assistant Manager – Production
Job Description

Job Role:
- Oversee and manage production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Implement production planning and process optimization strategies.
- Supervise and lead production teams, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Utilize ERP systems and production-related software to monitor and improve production activities.
- Address and resolve production issues, applying problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production-related software.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities to manage teams effectively.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in a production setting.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies is a plus.
- Experience in [specific industry, e.g., FMCG, textiles, automotive, etc., if relevant].
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and work under pressure.
