Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive – Logistics. The position exists to Ensure that the Full bottles received from Ranala factory and various outside factories and a soft drink Loading operation of the central distribution warehouse in Ranala. All the transaction will be accommodating in SAP system and be accountable for the variances in stock. Also be responsible and accountable for all finished goods within Soft Drinks for stock variances with the objective of achieving efficient loading of finished goods and carried out to enhance the customer satisfaction by minimizing the errors while trucks are being loaded and efficient production receiving to the main warehouse from the production area and maintain the accountability by minimizing the discrepancies. Also his main KPI will be maintain the Truck Turnaround time in optimize level.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the entire full bottles stocks and will issue the bottles from the warehouse to the dealers while maintaining FIFO.
- Responsible for the efficient loading operation of finished goods while managing the resources in effective manner.
- Responsible for the error free loading pertaining to each distributor loads which sent from the Ranala factory to distributor locations.
- Responsible for cycle counts and monthly stock variances.
- Responsible for maintaining Truck Turnaround Time for an optimum level and made continues improvement.
- Other than the Soft Drink Warehouse he/she should work in Ranala Cold Room premises based on the special requirement.
- Also, he/she will be allocated monitor and coordination of Soft Drink delivery trucks which is handled by the company.
- Responsible for ensure the all compliances, Safety Standards and quality parameters maintain by company.
Person Specifications
- Degree in Logistics Management / warehouse management or equivalent Diploma with relevant experience in logistics management / Stores Management.
- Business understanding of the Critical Processes involved in a warehouse operation.
- Sound Knowledge in Warehouse management, Transport management, Production systems, health and safety systems, financial knowledge and modern process technology.
- Ability to quickly adjust to changing business requirements.
- Communication skills, interpersonal relations and leadership and motivational skills.
- ‘Quality’ mind-set.
