Responsible for defining the overall test strategy and planning for a project.
Required to execute tests, both manual and automated, and analyze the results to identify defects, verify fixes, and ensure that the software meets quality standards.
Need to Provide clear and concise information about the testing efforts and help stakeholders make informed decisions regarding the software’s release readiness.
Required to Manage defects by tracking, prioritizing, and document software defects using issue tracking systems.
Responsible for writing and maintaining automated test scripts using suitable programming languages and automation tools.
Should focus on performance testing to evaluate how the system performs under expected and peak load conditions.
Responsible for collaborating with operations and development teams to investigate and address performance-related incidents.
Ensure that the testing process seamlessly integrates with the overall software delivery process.
Accountable for identifying areas for process enhancement, implement best practices, and adopt new tools and technologies to streamline testing activities, improve efficiency, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior QA team members.
Need to Guide and support team members, share their expertise, provide training, and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the QA team.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and testing techniques to ensure that the QA team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Recommend and implement appropriate tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of automation testing processes.
Entry Requirements
Should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Should possess previous experience in using industry-standard automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit and Cucumber.
Should possess previous experience in using industry-standard performance testing tools and frameworks, such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Apache Bench, or BlazeMeter.
Should be familiar with tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI/CD to automate test execution, generate reports, and trigger tests on code changes, and be familiar with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
Should have problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar role
