We are looking for a passionate and experienced person to join the Ethimale team as a Planning Manager. You will be based at Ethimale and will play a pivotal part in developing and executing comprehensive plans for sugarcane cultivation, harvesting, and transportation, integrating the automobile function for seamless operations.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans for sugarcane cultivation, harvesting, and transportation, integrating the automobile function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives with agriculture and automobile planning processes.
- Implement real-time monitoring systems for agriculture activities and automobile operations.
- Conduct regular site visits, utilize technology tools, and ensure adherence to planned schedules.
- Establish and maintain robust data collection mechanisms for key agricultural and automobile metrics.
- Analyze collected data, perform gap analysis, and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct thorough gap analysis to identify discrepancies between planned and actual results.
- Develop strategies and actionable recommendations to address gaps and improve operational efficiencies.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in sugarcane cultivation, harvesting, transportation, and the automobile function.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capitalize on opportunities and enhance overall productivity.
- Suggest and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve performance.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of proposed improvements.
- Prepare and present regular reports on agriculture activities, automobile operations, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives to the management team.
- Foster open communication channels with relevant departments and stakeholders.
- The Ideal Candidate Should Have
- A bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, engineering, or a related field.
- At least of 5 years of proven experience in strategic planning, activity monitoring, and data analysis within the agriculture and automobile sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct comprehensive gap analysis.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational enhancements. Experience in the sugar manufacturing industry will be a plus.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving operational excellence.
