Description

This role will play a pivotal role in Group Tech’s automation & digitization support advancement, responsible for guiding a team of network automation & software support professionals in the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of network domain software solutions. This role demands a deep technical expertise in software development and management, coupled with the ability to provide effective leadership and contribute to the strategic direction of company’s digital transformation, and digitization initiatives. The Senior Executive will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the optimal integration of our network automation solutions to support the achievement of our business goals. 

  • Develop and execute strategies to design, develop, and maintain automated software solutions aligned with company’s automation, digital transformation, and digitization roadmap.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in application architecture and design, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and meet business user requirements.
  • Selection of latest & proven software technologies and frameworks to improve existing solutions and upcoming solutions. 
  • Direct teams to ensure delivery of required features, functionality, and quality with accurate guidelines to ensure overall quality.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for digitization projects, ensuring their successful completion.
  • Ensure proper documentation and validation processes in accordance with industry standards and provide necessary guidelines to be followed by third party developers.
  • Manage software quality assurance for high reliability.
  • Provide guidance on high-level design methodologies for innovative product delivery.
  • Promote and lead the introduction of new technologies, including web, backend, and dev-ops.
  • Analyze software designs and implementations for security, resolving issues according to organizational policies.
  • Ensure teams enforce procedures and frameworks for smooth operation of systems with minimal service impact.
  • Lead the team in providing operational support for internally developed products and offering technical assistance for third-party products.
  • Oversee development of bug fixes and patches as needed to maintain resilient network services.
  • Manage proper version release management processes for bug fixes and patches.
  • Lead, motivate, and direct staff to achieve targets across the entire portfolio.

Entry Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Engineering, specialization in Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Computer Engineering. Obtained from a recognized University and accredited by the relevant body of the respective country.
  • 2 or more years’ experience in the field of Telecommunication & one or more years’ experience in Software Development and Architecture.
